BEFORE WE BEGIN...

  • Why did I choose to create a course on collaborative tools?
    • teaching style changed (less teacher centered, helped me focus on my goals/purpose for activities)
    • created a highly collaborative/teamwork atmosphere
    • student motivation sky rocketed
    • quality of work improved
    • addressed the needs of my students & reduced workload by providing built-in modifications

  • Anywhere there is internet, you can work on it (can be good & bad)
  • Peer & Teacher review can be made with commenting
    • use "Insert" then choose "Comment" or assign font colors
  • Track contributions
    • choose the document, choose "File", choose "Revision History"
